Glife.com is an online meeting place for everyone above the age of 17.
Through cooperation with our members, we aim to progressively create a community, which will give you a higher standard than the one you have grown accustomed to.
Our essential objective is to grant our users Integrity and Confidence. We guarantee that visitor and member information, as well as personal data, will not end up in the wrong hands. As a G life user, you can rely on always feeling secure and safe. It is therefore crucial that all users abide by the rules and regulations that govern the usage of glife.com. Please see below.
Glife.com is owned and operated by G life AB and G life Ltd. G life AB & G life Ltd is owned by a number of individuals whose age, experience and capability vary. We all share the great passion for developing glife.com into a community, which only offers its members the best. The management of G life AB is continuously developing the safety policy of g life. We consider all security related issues of great importance.
Completing your member registration means agreeing to the stated terms and conditions (below referred to as Terms and Conditions). The Terms and Conditions constitute a contract between you (below referred to as the
User) and G life AB (below referred to as G life), the company that operates glife.com. The Terms and Conditions are designed so as to promote online comfort, as well as to make our users aware of the rules that apply.
With regards to marketing and marketing research, G life AB intends to abide by the established rules and regulations that govern these.
Terms and Conditions
1. User Obligations
The User should practice traditional online etiquette. Among other things, the user should refrain from posting demeaning statements or accusations against others, regardless of whether these people are members of glife.com.
The user must refrain from posting phrases and words that may be regarded as offensive.
The User is to abide by applicable laws when utilizing glife.com. The User shall not conduct or encourage illegal activity when utilizing glife.com He or she should not attack any minority group, i.e. expressing disapproval of or threatening a group based on ethnicity, colour, sexual orientation, or religion. The User is prohibited from posting or in any other way disseminating child pornography or pictures, films, or other material involving sexual violence or coercion of any person. The User may not disseminate nude pictures or provocative material on glife.com The User is prohibited from posting or in other ways spreading copyright protected material without the consent of the author. The User is thus prohibited from downloading and disseminating music files (i.e. mp3 files), pictures or films on his or her website, unless the User has in fact created such pictures, music files or films, or retrieves the consent of the copyright holder. Furthermore, the User may not link such material. In the case of linking copyright protected material, the User shall be directly liable.
The User does not hold the right to utilize glife.com for personal and commercial aims, such as sale or publicity for products or services, unless he or she retains the written consent from G life AB. The User is prohibited from utilizing glife.com as a distribution channel or contact basis for commercial messages, mail, spam, and chain letters without the written consent of G life AB. The User may not copy or forward user information or in other ways utilizes such information, except for the intended purpose of glife.com. The User is prohibited from systematically disseminating political and religious propaganda via glife.com.
2. Registrations and Password Information At the time of registration, the User will be given a password. This password is the Users key to glife.com. The User is responsible for making certain this password remains confidential and should therefore not disclose or reveal his or her password to a third party. The User shall make sure that a third party may not access the password. The Users account may be erased, blocked, or suspended, should G life suspect that the User has provided incorrect information at the time of registration or in the personal account section. The same applies should the User sign up for several accounts, create a profile which is not personal, or if G life has reason to believe that the User account is being accessed by several people.
Only the registered User is authorized to use account.
3. Suspension of Membership and Penalties for violating the Terms and Conditions G life strongly condemns activities that according to us constitute a breach of applicable laws and/or breaches G lifes internal rules and regulations.
In the case of a User breaching the Terms and Conditions, G life, at the time of notice, will delete, block, or suspend the Users account.
Furthermore, such conduct may lead to both punitive fines and imprisonment.
Should G life deem such conduct a violation of the Terms and Conditions and/or applicable laws, G life may warn the User, block the Users account, suspend the account, or erase the account without any warning. All the user information and data saved on glife.com would thus disappear instantly.
Should the conduct be considered to be of a more serious nature, a police report will be filed. G life will gradually erase accounts of users who continue to display poor online behaviour, or in other ways breach the Terms and Conditions and/or rules and regulations even after receiving a warning.
G life cannot be held responsible for any damages due to deletion of saved material or the damages that the User may experience if his or her account is erased.
All attempts to hack G lifes data system will result in a police report being filed. Abuse of G lifes services/functions is strictly forbidden.
G life retains the right to suspend membership and erase all user data and information without notice should a User not log into his or her account for a period of 6 (six) consecutive months.
4. Transfer
Membership of glife.com is individual and may not be transferred to a third party.
5. Responsibility
The User shall be responsible for abiding by all applicable rules and regulations when utilizing glife.com. G life shall not be held liable for any possible damages affecting G life as a cause of the User utilizing glife.com in violation of the Terms and Conditions or applicable rules and regulations.
G life is not responsible for making certain that the material posted on glife.com by the User is protected from unauthorized usage or destruction by other Users or third party. Nor is G life responsible for deletion or destruction of material or data posted by the User online on glife.com due to support or reload of glife.com, or the shutting down of glife.com, or due to errors of operations or other errors that may disturb the function of glife.com.
6. Rights that G life attains from the User G life retains the right to freely copy, change, display, and distribute user material, which has been posted online on glife.com. Such activities include, but are not limited to, usage in the event of promoting glife.com.
It does not, however, include emails to Users of glife.com that are not employed by G life.
In order to prevent harassment, pornography, abuse and other unlawful or unwanted activities, G life shall be granted full access to the Users account in order to investigate possible complaints and reports.
G life and its selected partners retain the right to forward information and commercial messages to its members via G lifes functions and to the email address provided at the point of registration, should the User give his or her consent. Such messages may be tailored to fit the Users interests or his/her ability to answer questions. The User may decline to accept commercial messages from G life (opt out). In the case of market research by a third party, the request will always be passed along by G life. G life retains the right to sell results for voting functions that have been statistically broken down. The statistical material is in no way connected to individuals or user names, email addresses, addresses or other data that may be used for spam or similar activities. In regards to marketing and marketing research, G life intends to apply by the established rules and regulations that govern these.
7. User data
G life is responsible for the user data that is disclosed through the usage of glife.com. G lifes contact information can be found at the end of the Terms and Conditions.
G lifes objective is to protect the personal integrity of the User. G life will always put great importance in protecting the information disclosed by the User and will abide by the applicable laws and regulations (i.e. the Swedish Code of Statue 1998:204) (PUL) in order to protect the integrity of the user. Only a few selected people with certain authorization have access to the information.
G life reviews user data in such a way that is necessary to ensure the Users ability to utilize glife.com and its functions on a regular basis.
The Users address and telephone information may be used in an analysis, development, information, marketing, direct marketing, (e.g. via text message and email), and market research distributed by G life AB or selected partners, provided that the User has not notified G life and declined such a review of his or her personal information.
In the case of direct marketing, messages will be sent via mail or internal mail. Such messages can also be sent to the Users email address, provided that the User has approved this. The User is responsible for providing the correct information.
G life AB attaches cookies when you visit glife.com. Cookies are short informational files, which are saved in the Users computer. The main reason for using cookies is that G life wants to ensure that its members will be able to use the website in the best way possible. Cookies cannot be used to identify the individual User per se, only the web browser which is installed in the Users computer which is being utilized each time you visit our website. Since cookies do not contain viruses, they cannot destroy information saved to the Users computer.
By accepting the Terms and Conditions at the point of registration, the User gives his or her consent to the usage of personal data discussed in the above section (User data). The User is entitled to a one time per year free review of the personal data, which is being used by G life. The User retains the right to withdraw his or her consent in regards to the usage of personal data at any time. The User may also request that information be removed or changed, should the data prove to be incorrect or incomplete.
8. Rules regarding Imagery
The User is to abide by the rules regarding imagery, as set out by G life. G life retains the right to, without warning, reject or remove User images if such images should be regarded objectionable or in any way breach the Terms and Conditions and/or applicable rules and regulations.
Imagery will be judged according to the following criteria:
Approved images
* An approved imaged is a facial picture of the User
free of interfering elements, such as dark shadows, covered facial parts, funny or insulting facial expressions, and sunglasses etc.
Non-approved imagery will be removed from the website.
Non-approved images are as follows:
* Pictures where the User appears too far from the camera to be identified.
* Pictures containing several people.
* An empty picture (i.e. picture where the motif cannot be determined).
* Pictures containing technical errors, such as too much or too little light, or a picture, which is too large or too small
* Pictures suspected to be portraying people other than the actual User
* Pictures which promote any products or services
* Pictures that breach applicable rules and regulations, such as those depicting violence, narcotics, tobacco, alcohol, and pornography.
* Pictures where the User is deemed to be dressed inappropriately.
* Pictures of poor quality (e.g. most web cam pictures).
G lifes judgement of whether a picture is approved is individual and will not be subject to discussion.
9. Games and Competitions
In the event of games and competitions organized online on glife.com by G Life AB, any prize exceeding the value of 100 SEK will be reported to the local tax agency.
10. Change of the Terms and Conditions
G life retains the sole right to change the Terms and Conditions, which govern the usage of glife.com. G life advises the User to visit the website for Terms and Conditions frequently in order to discover possible changes.
Should the changes be of such importance that the usage of glife.com would change in a noticeable manner, the User will be notified. By continuously utilizing glife.com, the User is considered to have consented to the changed Terms and Conditions. Should a User desire to end his or her membership, he or she may cancel via glife.com
G life will strive to make its Users feel welcome and comfortable at glife.com. We cannot, however, guarantee that all services will function flawlessly.
